The Genesis

With less than a week to go until the website launch, I thought I’d give you an introduction to my photography and what I aim to achieve with it.

From a young age, I’ve had a great appreciation for a scenic view. I saved my money and bought my first camera in 2017, and used subsequent years to travel and capture what most enchanted me. In the last few years, I spent a year in China and have also been to Dubai, Jamaica, Italy, Spain, and a few other destinations.

Through my experience, I’ve developed my style in photography, and I’d use 3 words to describe it; Tranquil, Unique, Versatile.

“Tranquil”- Silk Silhouette

If you know me personally, you’ll know I’m a naturally relaxed fellow, and I believe my photography reflects a side of this. In my pictures, you’ll find a sense of tranquility, peace, and deep serenity.

“Unique”- Bionic Burj

I once read an article that explained a good photographer will find a way to take a photograph like nobody else; you must be unique. Reflecting on this transformed my photography, as I then began to improvise methods to capture a scene (especially popular landmarks) in a way to create an incomparable, rare, and distinct image.

“Versatile”- Warm Mountains

Although my niche is landscape photography, my collection represents a wide range of categories within this- sunsets, architecture, mountains, skylines, fine art… it’s versatile and displays scenes from all over the world.

Through this, I’ve coined the term “Soulfood Photography” to represent what my photography is and what i aim to achieve with it. I believe there’s vast beauty in this world, and I aim to spread that.
